Questions and answers
Below we have listed questions we have been commonly asked over the last year or so.
Does the NFI diet work for everyone?
The NFI diet does work for everyone, as it has been specifically designed, using food interaction chemistry within the body to work individually with each person to achieve weight loss or as a constructed plan to dramatically improve and place Type 2 diabetes into remission. (Type 2 diet plans are only available through accredited doctors, please feel free to contact us directly on info@nfidiet.com for further information.)
Will I get sufficient protein on the diet?
All diets are specifically tailored to an individual needs and are calculated on a case by case basis, no one person is the same so no one diet is the same. Due to the unique method we use to calculate a diet each person when following the diet correctly, will consume the required amounts of protein a day for that individual.
Will I feel weak?
As the diets have been designed to ensure that all energy needs are meet, normally a person experiences no weakness feelings at all. On the contrary, when starting the diet, we often get feedback where people say they have excessive energy and not feeling weak at all.
Do I have to stay on the diet forever?
There are different diets for different people. People looking to lose weight can remain on the diet until they are content with the result, or have achieved their personal targets. Type 2 diabetic diets are slightly different, the individual has to follow the diet until he or she attains a result that is deemed manageable without medications and can achieve controlled blood sugar level 30 days after the last intake of medication. This process varies dependant on the person but ranges from 13 -26 weeks depending on the individual and the starting point of their journey on the diet. How long will it take to cure my diabetes (Type 2)?
The word cure is not a term we use. The term in remission is what we prefer to say. To date we have treated numerous people who have continual sustained blood glucose control (in remission) after completion of the NFI diet. Typically it takes 13-26 weeks depending on the specific individual.
